About
Everything began one early morning in early 2008. Having just finished a complete viewing of the Hercules TV show, I was eager to continue exploring ancient Greece. I was quick to hop online, where there is a fansite for everything...only to find that the world had moved on, and Hercules was no longer a strong presence on the net. How could this be? Especially with a variety of long-running, successful Xena websites out there? I had no choice! I decided that morning that I would make a Hercules fansite of my own!
Things started simple enough, as I began designing a small fansite that I expected would be just a distraction for myself. Little did I anticipate the level at which I would expand. It quickly grew well beyond my abilities, so much so that I almost had to call off the project or scale it back simply because I could not accomplish what I had wanted. Still, I made a call to my good friend Sage to ask advice, and he readily jumped on board. From then on, we worked on making my dream a reality.
Over a year later, and the site continued to grow. I don't know how large it will become, or how long it will last, but I certainly say that it is a project that has been built with hard work, and more importantly, passion. I am a huge fan of the television show, even today. I get excited to watch episodes just like I was back in 1995. Another thing I can say is that everyone involved in making this website has given it their all. I am truly in debt to every single person who helped me build this. Perhaps you may look on my website and laugh that such effort was put into an old TV show. Perhaps you look on and say ''this was all they did in a year?'' Perhaps. However, it is my absolute pride and joy to have put it together, and I am forever greatful to every contributer who helped me add content to our enormous gallery. I am forever greatful to Sage, who without I would have never been able to realize such a project, nor maintain it. To those who visit, to those who get a smile or a twinge of excitement: I'm thankful that you're here.
Just like Hercules, I'm going to keep on this road. The journey continues, and as long as their are those out there to be entertained, I'll be here, working make this website everything it can be.
